Is and will be full of beautiful and intense music, as well as some craziness.
It started right on this first of February being back at La Folle journée de Nantes; playing two recitals in the same day. One with my dear Christian Pierre La Marca and one solo.
Wednesday is a special recital day for me as I’m back at the Auditorium du Louvre, which is the first concert hall I played a recital at when I was 14 thanks to Hervé Boissière and Monique Devaux. I love my program: the mysterious poetry of Fauré, an hommage to Dutilleux, these two French genius surrounded by two Beethoven Sonata, the young and classic op 2 nr 3 and the ultimate op111 to end with.
Around that, I’ll be rehearsing and performing Brahms 1 in Frankfort with Andrés Orozco- Estrada and the HR Sinfonieorchester. I’m so excited about it !
Then it will be time to fly back to America for the first of my Crazy Rach project ! in Wichita Kansas. Playing the Complete Concerti and Paganini Variations in one week end with the Wichita Symphony and Daniel Hege.
And this intense month will end back in Europe in Munich with one of my very old and favorite compagnon Shostakovich Concerto for Piano,Trumpet and strings orchestra. On the 21st, back at the Prinzregententheater with the great Clemens Schuldt and MKO, with Matthew Sadler. I’m looking forward to that evening !
This is a full and exciting month here ahead and I hope to bring great music and beauty to my audiences!
Let’s enjoy !:)
