It makes me happy

to be celebrating Camille Saint Saens Birthday playing his thrilling second piano concerto! I just had a very enjoyable rehearsal with The National Arts Centre Orchestra and Andrey Boreyko here in Ottawa. One of these rehearsals that make me feel satisfied and smiling. Also that concerto is the perfect journey through beautiful melodies, a pinch of humor and a –champagne wise– spirit to end in a stormy risky perpetual movement!

Today I toast Monsieur Camille Saint Saens.

Live life to the full, and become more curious every day. The more you find out about life, the richer your music-making will be.”

Daniel Barenboim

Here to being curious for life.
